my contest entry for 's contest. she gave us a list of songs and we had to pick one and interpret it in our own way. i had a hard time deciding (theyre all so good!) but i finally settled with this one. its called "Ghost of a Rose" by Blackmore's Night. its a really good song.

anyway, i did Midnite and Wildflower. i thought this song would fit them well, since Wildflower loves flowers and i could see her telling Midnite what the lyrics say.

for once, i actually like how it came out. could use some tweeking here and there, but i like it. Midnite came out pretty nice i think. the roses, hehe funny. i never drew roses before. when i quickly doodled one as a space filler until i can get a reference, it actually looked somewhat like a rose. so i kept doing the same thing over and over again and they came out decent. i was never a good flower artist.
